DIALOG 26 BARRY IS UNUSUAL
1--Have you met Barry? 2--I think so, but I don’t remember what he looks like. 1--He’s a most unusual person. 2--What do you mean by unusual? 3--You’ll understand when you see him. 2--You mean it’s his physical appearance? 1--Not exactly. There’s a certain way that he has of speaking and choosing his words that’s unique.But that’s not what I’m talking about. 3--That’s part of it. But it goes beyond speech. He left it parked in front of his girl friend’s house and when he came out to go home, it was gone. 2--Wow! That’s really tough. He just bought it last month, didn’t he? 1--Uh-huh. Fortunately, he’s got insurance and the police think they already have a good lead. 2--Well, I certainly wish him luck.
